I believe everybody has a right to access a yoga practice, pull from it what they need and leave behind what doesn’t serve them. I completed my initial trainings in 2010, and since then have been honored to journey through power yoga, vinyasa styles, hatha, and restorative practices. On a quest to eliminate my own back pain and help others on a similar mission, I completed a back-care (Happy Back) training right here at Yoga is Therapy in 2015. Having recovered from a great deal of pain myself, I know the Yoga Wall can be a phenomenal tool to help resolve discomforts and create more space and understanding of the body.
Following the completion of my back care training, I found the courage and drive to open my own business in 2015, The Devotional School of Yoga. I have loads of fun planning destination trainings and retreats and love leading others through an in-depth study of yoga and its many aspects. As a teacher, my job is to be flexible and offer something that can be received by all students regardless of their reason for yoga. I am constantly in process, exploring more effective ways to offer yoga, approaching the practice from different angles. Let’s explore together and see what’s possible!
