About The Teacher

Jayne Gottlieb is a yoga/meditation teacher, young business owner and entrepreneur, dancer, and yogini who encourages personal growth, elevates physical and emotional health and inspires positivity for a lifestyle. Joyful, deep, inspiring and excitedly intense, Jayne draws on her continued knowledge of the body and yoga, her own study of spiritual psychology and her 20 plus years of dance and movement to challenge and encourage transformation in students and clients from the inside out. Jayne is known for her vigorous, devotional and transformative classes as well as her ability to bring lightness and happiness into class on and off the mat. Her aim is to invite students to realize that personal growth is not only powerful and self elevating, but also has the potential to be fun and joyfully integrated into everyday living.

A Bhaktini, Jayne embraces yoga and spiritual devotion as a lifestyle both on and off the mat. She was recently re-crowned a Lululemon ambassador in the Roaring Fork Valley and named a young powerhouse of the mid-valley by her colleagues and Basalt representatives. Through her children's theatre company, Le Cercle Community Studio, yoga, and fulfilling relationships, she radiates the power of soulfulness and spiritual awakening both for others and herself. Jayne has studied with Rusty Wells, Andre Ram, Janet Stone, Ashley Turner & Sonny Conley building on their philosophies and spiritual coaching to create a strong flow that opens the heart, quiets the mind and exudes a balance of strength and grace. She is consistently traveling to San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York City to expand her knowledge and continue her own active journey of service so she can continually bring new information to students. She strongly believes that in order to be an inspiring teacher of any kind, it is of utmost importance to be a very active student and realizes too that more than anything, the ultimate teacher is life itself!

Jayne's passion is 'feel great' alignment for each individual body with powerful breath and creative, artistic flow. Her belief is that the mat is a sacred space that we arrive at to find more meaning, depth, authenticity and integrity in our lives off our mat. Jayne's approach? SPIRIT, BREATH, INTUITION and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. "Motion changes emotion" is her mantra and she inspires a practice where movement will open ones heart and mind leaving endless possibilities for positive life change. Jayne's yoga classes focus on a dynamic vinyasa style of yoga sprinkled with wisdom from the roots of Yoga Psychology and philosophy, deep self-inquiry, devotion and humor. Jayne's dance classes you can expect to laugh, sweat, tone, strengthen the body, shake and reawaken the sexy warrior in all of us!!!

Jayne lives in the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley, and has for the past 12 years, among her many amazing friends and very happy dog!

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

To find peace and renewal while going through a huge change in my life. Empty nest and the end of a 27 year marriage all at once. Susan
