About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Megan Hunter is a printmaker and artist with over 20 years’ experience practising and teaching printmaking. She holds a Fine Arts degree from Monash University and a Master of Teaching from Deakin University (Australia), and has studied at Il Bisonte in Florence.

Megan has worked as a printmaking technician and educator and was formerly Manager of the Firestation Print Studio in Melbourne before moving to Italy. She has taught printmaking techniques for over two decades and has exhibited in Australia and Europe. Her work is held in both public and private collections.

Deeply passionate about drawing and printmaking, Megan is committed to sharing her knowledge in a way that is generous, supportive, and accessible. Through Ink & Paper Italy, she aims to inspire others to explore the expressive possibilities of printmaking while experiencing the beauty, history, culture, and rhythm of life in Italy.
