About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Master of Indian Classical Music | Teacher | Guardian of the Mridang Tradition
For Satya, music is not just a technique—it is a sadhana, a spiritual practice and path of consciousness. His teaching is rooted in the ancient tradition of Indian classical music, where every rhythm and vibration becomes an offering to the divine.
He lives and practices in the sacred spaces of Haridwar and Rishikesh, dedicating himself to preserving and transmitting the meditative power of sound. Every session begins with an invocation to Maa Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and arts, creating a deep connection to the essence of music.
Satya specializes in Mridang, the celestial percussion instrument traditionally played by Lord Ganesha for Shiva’s tandava. Its sound is more than music—it is a meditation tool that aligns the heartbeat with the rhythm of the universe.
As a performer, he has shared the stage at India’s most prestigious venues, bringing the ancient sounds of Mridang and Tabla into the contemporary world. His mission is to awaken global consciousness through these instruments and pass their heritage to the next generation of seekers.
