Kuntur & Yaku Wachumeros

About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Yaku Amaru (Water Serpent) and Nina Kuntur (Fire Condor) are life partners and Qheswa (Quechua) natives from Pisac in the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, Peru.

Heirs to an ancient Andean lineage, they are guardians and transmitters of ancestral wisdom rooted in reciprocity, harmony with nature, and sacred relationship to cosmic law. For over three decades, they have dedicated their lives to preserving and revitalizing Andean culture through ceremony, music, education, and community leadership.

They are founders of the Wiñay Taki Cultural Center and co-founders of the Kusi Kawsay Andean School, supporting Indigenous families in strengthening cultural identity and ancestral knowledge.
Their sacred mission is to share this living wisdom as medicine while continuing to serve and sustain their community in Peru.
