About The Teacher
Ulu Yoga (aerial)
Minty’s passion is to connect with people and inspire them to live a joyous, fulfilled life through alternative healing, mindful living, and laughter.
Originally from Los Angeles, Minty was exposed to diverse people, lifestyles and cultures. She spent 15 years in the hospitality industry, instilling in her a desire to serve and make people feel good.
Minty stepped into her first yoga class in 2010, where she found a new way to disconnect from the daily stresses, anxieties and fears of everyday life and reconnect with herself. Soon after, she stepped into her first 200-hr YTTC at an eco-conscious permaculture farm in Costa Rica in 2012. She returned to Los Angeles to incorporate her spiritual awakening to help others.
In 2017, Minty realized she wanted to fully dedicate herself to becoming a healer. Embracing her love of travel and adventure, she sold most of her belongings and took the rest to Thailand. On her quest, she completed a second 200-hr mixed-yoga teacher training with aerial yoga and a 50-hr yoga alignment course.
Minty soon realized she wanted to help heal from additional areas to complement her yoga expertise. She completed training in Reiki I & II, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Cranio-Sacral Therapy under Oren Dotan, an internationally-known osteopath and integrative cranio-sacral therapist.
Minty takes a wholistic approach to healing, creating optimal alignment in life for maximum flow; she believes community-building, self-compassion, trust, and love will release tensions and negative blocks.
Minty currently teaches aerial yoga on the island of Koh Phangan in Thailand, focusing on restoration, alignment and joy. Guiding those who need healing from within and without, physically, mentally and spiritually, she is ready to be of service.
