About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Kenny Brown uses a range of recovery models alongside a multifaceted understanding of addiction and mental health, enabling him to tailor his approach to meet the unique needs of each individual he works with.
His extensive time in the charity sector has allowed him to build a wide and trusted network of resources, including CEOs, managers, entrepreneurs, and government agencies across health and social care and beyond. Kenny now works within the private sector alongside a team of first-class clinicians and has recently worked within luxury rehabilitation settings in Switzerland.
Kenny is currently training as an NLP Practitioner, further enhancing his ability to support behavioural change, emotional regulation, and long-term recovery outcomes.
He is known for his warm, attentive nature and his natural ability to help people feel comfortable and at ease. Kenny firmly believes that families and loved ones caught in the chaos of addiction are too often overlooked; as such, he places great importance on involving and updating family members or close friends as an integral part of the recovery process.
With over 20 years dedicated to the field of addiction recovery, Kenny draws upon his own lived experience of substance misuse and mental health challenges, which he overcame early in life. He also has lived experience with psychedelics and maintains an open-minded, informed, and ethical perspective on their emerging role in mental health and wellbeing when approached safely and responsibly. Kenny is an advocate of all evidence-based and holistic approaches that support good health and overall wellbeing.
As a survivor of childhood abuse, Kenny brings a deep understanding of trauma and genuine empathy to his work, allowing him to build trust and strong therapeutic relationships with those he supports.
He prides himself on his honesty and integrity—qualities he once lost during his own battle with addiction, but which now form the foundation of his professional practice. Kenny is committed to the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality, ensuring that every client feels safe, respected, and secure throughout their recovery journey.
