Michael Romankiewicz
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Michael Romankiewicz was born in Germany in 1987. As a young man, his passion was sports, from soccer to boxing. Michael enjoyed growing up in a community that still maintained ties and communicated with empathy and kindness. At the age of 16, he began his training in mechanical engineering and has experienced the transformation of the industry from different positions.
In his professional career, he has worked in mechanical engineering and plant construction, in the automotive industry, in aeronautical construction, and in other sectors. In addition, he was a manager in three different countries, serving as team leader, department head, and production manager in Germany, Mexico, and Switzerland. He also holds a master's degree in business administration.
In the wake of the pandemic, Michael's experience has led to a radical change in the sectors, with workers increasingly being viewed as nothing more than disposable and replaceable “human resources.” This change in mindset has an impact on the lives of workers and their families, with impossible goals and deadlines, a lack of free time, and work applications on personal mobile devices that prevent workers from disconnecting, as they are expected to be “available” as part of their commitment and loyalty to the companies. It is precisely these conditions that lead employees to suffer from burnout.
He himself has experienced burnout symptoms on two occasions and, thanks to the support of doctors, friends, and family, managed to avoid serious consequences and after-effects of what is now known as the silent syndrome that kills thousands every year. After this experience and because Michael has a vocation for service, Nierika GmbH was born, which is more than just a company; it was created to be a tool for building healthy communities.
Michael was born near Lake Constance, he is the founder and CEO (Cosmic Engagment Officer) of Nierika GmbH, His hobbies include various sports, immersing himself in nature, breathwork, mindfulness and gardening. He currently lives in Switzerland with his wife Adelina and their new avocado tree, Awatkin Groundstander.
