Ricardo is from Tampico, Northern Mexico. His love for bodily movement and the interaction between body and mind comes from his Martial Arts background. He began yoga to improve his alignment in competitions and immediately fell in love with its focus on balancing body and mind. He is relatively new to teaching yoga, but is an old soul with years in martial arts and mind-body connection. He completed training in 2015 in Vinyasa Flow at Yoga Dicha in Tulum, where he now lives. Ricardo's Sunday Funday practice is often the highlight of our yoga week as we play into our poses and Ricardo shares effective ways to increase balance, flexibility, and strength.
