About The Teacher

Hatha Yoga instructor with 700hrs of training. She covers: traditional Hatha yoga with Tantric bases, therapeutic yoga with emphasis in correct alignment and save adjustments, meditation and pranayama. Over the past few years Dannia has spend time training and travelling around south east asia in order to deepen into her own practice and in that way be a channel to share valuable information with devoted practitioners. She has a holistic approach to yoga that combines all her experiences. Her current fascination for mindfulness, meditation and pranayama began last year when she visited India and did her first vipassana and her last TTC in Rishikesh.
Dannia creates her classes with care and love; curates her music to create a nice atmosphere and puts a lot of emphasis in a progressive, gentle and save practice. For her, yoga is about connecting with the source, it doesn`t matter if it is through dancing, laughing, crying or breathing. As a master once told her, it is about finding our true self, which is blissful, playful, joyful and fearless.

      Gentle and Loving Teacher

    I recently attended Dannia’s Cinco Elemental Retreat and took one of her yoga classes at Healing House. I love Dannia’s kind and gentle teaching style, focus on the breath, and philosophy of yoga. Dannia lives what she teaches and you can feel it in her attentiveness to each moment. Talking with her helped me to shift my perspective on yoga and focus more on my internal sensations and mindfulness rather than fighting against yoga as I have done so frequently in the past. As a person, Dannia is wise, fun to be around, and has a very soothing and comforting presence.

      Amazing grounded teacher, inspiring my inner zen

    Dannia is an amazing yoga and meditation teacher. I attended mutiple of her yoga, pranayama and meditation classes as well as her retreat. When you step into a classroom with Dannia, you immediately notice that her energy is different. She is a very grounded and calm person and reallz inspires a similar feeling out of you. Attending her class anchors you in the present moment and I could listen to her guided meditations all day. Her multitude of experiences in vipassana meditation and travels to India and South East Asia really comr through in her classes. The way she describes movements or instructions leave no room for a lack of focus or distraction on my part. Besides in the classroom, she is also a wonderful and funny person that you want to be close friends with. Her various experiences make her very interesting to chat to. 5 stars for Dannia!
