About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Founder/owner, concept developer, back-office, host
Yin yoga teacher, Logotherapy instructor, Resource-focused Mindfulness instructor, Nature therapy guide (ANTF), Meridian masseuse, Solution-oriented Brief therapist, Centering Prayer instructor
When you arrive, I will guide you to your room, introduce the spaces, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you settle gently into your self-guided retreat. We will begin the digital fast and silence together with a short guided introduction.
In my free time, I also enjoy relaxing at the retreat alongside you, our guests, sharing the quiet together. However, you are always welcome to approach me if anything is on your mind or if you have questions. When I'm not at the retreat, you will reach me by messaging on house phone.
I am also the owner, founder, and a passionate developer of the Utula Nature concept. I am also the creator of our concept and the therapeutic expertise behind it.
I have extensive experience in holistic well-being through a wide range of methods and approaches, gained over the past 20 years through both my studies and my personal life journey.
Especially close to my heart are trauma and addiction healing and prevention, nervous system regulation, and embodied awareness.
I have gathered my expertise and knowledge into the Retreat Guide, which serves as a source of inspiration during your stay. I truly hope you enjoy it, and I am also very happy to receive any feedback at info@utulanature.com, as we continuously refine and improve both the concept and the guide.
In my previous professions, I hold a Master’s degree in Economics (Helsinki School of Economics) and am also a designer (Metropolia University of Applied Sciences). In 2014, I experienced a purpose crisis often associated with midlife and realized that I wanted to create a life aligned with my values—one that supports both my own well-being and the evolution of humanity toward a more peaceful direction.
Between 2016 and 2022, I trained as a yin yoga teacher, nature therapy guide, values- and meaning-centered logotherapy facilitator, and strengths-based mindfulness facilitator. I graduated as a Solution-Focused Brief Therapist in 2024 and as a Centering Prayer facilitator in early 2025.
As a therapist, I am compassionate, present, inquisitive, accepting, and empowering. My strengths include the ability to be with you even in deep and dark emotions, as well as a strong trust in the meaningfulness of life.
