About the Teacher
Why study with them?
I am from Burgos and I studied Psychology at the University of Salamanca. I have specialized in Project Management and in Rights and Needs of Children and Adolescents. I have worked in educational and social projects in Peru, Mozambique, Sub-Saharan Africa and Bolivia in favor of the fulfillment of human rights and social justice.
I began to research aspects that could enhance education other than the merely academic ones and Yoga came into my life as a deeply transformative practice.
I studied 200h yoga teacher program for the first time in 2009 at a Hatha Yoga school in Madrid and, the following year, under the guidance of my teacher Christine Mcardle, I studied Yoga for children with deep inspiration in Anusara Yoga. For years my practice was guided by the 3 A de Anusara - Alignment, Attitude and Action -, in this tradition of tantric roots committed to devotional principles and expansion of the heart.
The path of the body, mind, heart and spirit is infinite and always challenges you to know more and try new approaches. From this path of evolution, I have continued with my teacher Christine, who now teaches yoga from the Bowspring alignment perspective, which has allowed me to grow in a deeper understanding of the body’s fascial system and the enormous possibilities that it holds. Without a doubt we are much more than what meets the eye.
And, I have had the immense pleasure of meeting Master Andrei Ram of the Dharma Mittra lineage, who carries out yoga in the purest classical style, connecting with the very roots of this practice and with its most essential purpose: the self - realization of being.
I consider myself a seeker and I like to experiment. I currently teach Hatha Raja Yoga classic because that's where I feel most comfortable. I believe the disposition with which one approaches the practice of Yoga is fundamental, as a form of self-knowledge and connection with our immense internal potential. After all, yoga is that path that generates the divine interior alchemy, giving light to each and every aspect of our being.
