Mario Lopez Amaya and Carolina Ingrisch (Sowa Nete)

About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Mario Lopez Amaya and Carolina Ingrisch are the founders and lead facilitators of Sowa Nete, a healing collective dedicated to holistic healing, ancestral wisdom, and consciousness expansion. Together, they bridge ancient traditions with modern integration practices, creating safe, deeply transformative spaces for profound physical, emotional, and spiritual renewal.

Having successfully facilitated intimate experiences at Pura Vida Ecolodge in the past, Mario and Carolina have an intimate understanding of how to weave their work into the property's unique ecosystem. The combination of their grounded expertise and the lodge's nature-first environment provides the absolute perfect setting for an immersive, re-wilding Micro-Retreat.

Mario Lopez Amaya serves as a dedicated facilitator and healer, bringing years of immersive experience working directly alongside traditional indigenous lineages, particularly the Shipibo tradition of Peru. His approach focuses on the respectful, authentic preservation of sacred plant medicine traditions, guiding participants through deep journeys of inner discovery. Within the secluded, off-grid sanctuary of the lodge, Mario's grounded presence provides a secure container for individuals looking to move through blockages, dissolve burnout, and realign with their true life purpose.

Carolina Ingrisch complements this ancestral framework as a co-facilitator, master somatic guide, and certified yoga instructor. She specializes in integrating spiritual depth with the grounding practices of the physical body. Utilizing the lodge's panoramic, wrap-around teak deck and open-air Rancho, Carolina guides participants through intuitive yoga, conscious breathwork, and somatic release—perfectly positioning the canopy and the ocean breeze as active elements of the healing process. Her work focuses on fostering a deep sense of inner peace and supporting the body's natural capacity to heal.

As a collaborative team working in harmony with Pura Vida Ecolodge, Mario and Carolina offer a masterfully balanced approach to micro-retreats. Together with the lodge’s organic design, freshwater plunge pool, and raw jungle isolation, they deliver a deeply restorative, elevated re-wilding journey that lingers long after guests return home.
