From the first class I took, I knew I wanted the opportunity to share the practice of yoga with others. When my youngest child started preschool, I met Debbi Murphy with Shanti Yoga School, and I knew my chance had arrived. I worked hard to experience as many different styles and teachings of yoga as I could during my 500 RYT (Registered Yoga Therapist) program. After completing my certification from the Fascial Fitness Society, I realized I had only scratched the surface of the delicate and intertwined relationship between the science of yoga and the fascial body. For teen yoga, I completed my studies with Christy Brock. For Yin yoga I continue my studies and practice with Bernie Clark. Currently I am the only RYT 500 Yoga and certified Fascial Fitness Trainer in the United States. The practice of yoga asana, meditation, and pranayama offers us tools to live happier, healthier lives. I hope to learn something new everyday and share this with you in our practice of yoga.
