Paula Peach Ehrmann

About The Teacher

Paula’s powerful and healing soulwork sessions connect you to a part of yourself that you’ll celebrate. She loves to dive deep, with gentle inquiries that uncover your own personal power. Her mediations are soothing, strengthening and enlightening. You’ll find the next steps on your path, discover your source of inner knowing through expertly guided exercises, and learn how to incorporate truly life-changing inner work techniques.

Paula has a true gift of helping people make big leaps. As a licensed, clinical, professional counselor with over 25 years experience in psychotherapeutic treatments Paula has had the honor of guiding hundreds of clients along their path of self development. As a seasoned mother and grandmother she is no stranger to the world of growth and change. Humbly accepting the seasons and cycles of life has been some of Paula’s most rewarding work thus far. On her own inner work path, Paula has cultivated a level of attentiveness that she offers to each person she comes in contact with in sessions, on retreat and out in the world.

With a Master of Science in Applied Psychology and Quantative Methods, Paula specializes in the treatment of trauma, mood disorders, bereavement and loss, women’s issues and life transition. Paula is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a proven, effective treatment modality for trauma, anxiety and phobias. As a Certified Riso-Hudson Enneagram Teacher and an Accredited Professional with the International Enneagram Association, Paula uses the Enneagram Personality model in on retreat, in therapy and teaches seminars and workshops on the subject. Paula co-founded Coach for America, an organization created to change the way America sees sports and athletics. She is also co-author of “InsideOut Coaching: How Sports Can Transform Lives,” a healing approach to coaching that promotes the healthy development of our youth.

Some of Paula’s favorite moments on retreat happen when there is a deeper connection formed with ourselves and each other. You may find her on retreat riding a horse full speed along the beaches of Mexico or deep in intimate conversation over a glass of wine. When she’s not on retreat, Paula’s at home in her private therapy practice in Baltimore, Maryland, dancing to her favorite retreat songs.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration is a desire to gain a deeper connection to and understanding of myself, something that I've been working hard on for so long and will continue to do in the future. I view a retreat as a wonderful way to focus entirely on this without the distractions of every day life! Nicola

Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
