About The Teacher

Tristian Kelly is a sleep therapist and the author of Three Weeks to Better Sleep, and the soon-to-be- published Diary of an Insomniac. She graduated in psychology from Sydney University, and later trained as a naturopath, nutritionist, Western herbal medicine practitioner and homeopath. Unlike most sleep therapists, treating insomnia was not a career choice for Tristian, but a matter of survival. She experienced the debilitating effects of insomnia – across all aspects of her life – for over 20 years. So she knows exactly what it feels like to feel burnt out all the time, and how this impacts your health, your relationships, your career and your life generally. After years of study, and with her own personal self-healing triumph behind her, Tristian wanted to use her knowledge and experience to help others achieve the same outcome, and she founded Counting Seashells, a business dedicated to helping insomniacs discover better sleep – no matter how chronic or long lasting the problem.

Why Retreat?
