About The Teacher

I’m a yoga teacher and life coach, as well as a lover of avocados, French press coffee, and hip hop. I am an Iowa girl living blissfully in Venice Beach with my husband and our lovable English bulldog Rosy.

Whether it’s through a sweaty yoga practice, a gratitude meditation, or a conversation over coffee about life goals, my mission is to lead people toward their bliss. sustainable, fulfilling, ohmygodilovemylife bliss.

Teaching yoga for almost eight years I’m continually inspired by the beauty of the human spirit, the ability of the body to heal and the innate, unconditional bliss that lies in each of us.

After years of teaching I knew I wanted to help others transform both on and off their yoga mats. I completed my life coaching training with Martha Beck and my work is influenced by the work of Danielle LaPorte, Brooke Castillo and Brene Brown, just to name a few.

I am also the co-founder of Rock Your Bliss, a yoga and goals movement inspiring and empowering others to live their yoga both on and off their yoga mats. Goal coach Jacki Carr and I lead worldwide retreats, workshops and trainings that “make shift happen.”

I’ve traveled the world working with professional athletes and creating sustainable, rehabilitative yoga programs. I have also developed classes held at the Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles for teenagers, newborns, and their family members.

In 2013 I was named one of the top yoga instructors in Los Angeles by Rate Your Burn. My classes and retreats have been featured in the Huffington Post, National Geographic Traveler, LA Yoga and Origin Magazine.

In recognition of my work, I’ve been named an ambassador of lululemon athletica, Manduka, Tiny Devotions, The Neshama Project and Stronger Faster Healthier.
