Plant Based Enthusiast/Yoga Teacher
Adri started cooking at home at the age of 13, always playing with recipes and ingredients and developing a love for cooking that only got bigger through the years. This love took her to Plant Based Cooking and Life style, more than seven years ago. More recently she graduated from Forks Over Knives Culinary Program where along with many she enhanced her passion for local , fresh ingredients focusing on the nutrient density of the food instead of calories and using healthy cooking methods.
“Food is Medicine ” she believes and says at age 43 “I feel better now than I did in my twenties” .
For 2 years Adriana has been working at Vida Asana , where she has access to local vendors, farmers markets, seasonal completely fresh foods that help her create healthy and delicious dishes.
Adriana became a Certified Yoga Instructor in 2014 while living in the U.S and realized that Yoga and Plant Based Living complement each other as she practices Ahimsa (non violence) though her cooking style.
She teaches Amrit Yoga, often described as “meditation in motion” wich is a deeply meditative style of Hatha Yoga created by Yogi Amrit Desai founder of the Kripalu Center an also Yoga Nidra Meditation.Source: vidaasana.secure.retreat.guru
