Alicia Cheung has been teaching yoga for over 25 years. As an athlete since childhood, she went to various styles of yoga to balance out her active lifestyle. She studied and practiced Iyengar, Vinyasa Flow, Therapeutic Yin, and MyoFascial Release Therapy. Following a snowmobile accident in 1995, Alicia delved deeply into Chinese Medicine, craniosacral therapy and meditation, with an emphasis on mindfulness techniques. She became a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in 2001, with a focus on nutritional therapy. She has participated in MBSR and NLP programs, all of which shape her practice and guide her teachings. Alicia is mother to 11 year old, Olivia, and resides in both Bali and the US.
