About The Teacher
Ardent for adventure and eager for a challenge, Mackenzie (RYT-500) fled the mainland in search of something greater than (but still a part of) herself. This journey immediately drew her to yoga and for two months she devoted her energy to self study (svadhyaya) through the eight-fold path. She has spent the years since as a dedicated student to the practice both on and off of her mat. By shedding that which no longer serves her and making room in her life to allow for positive change and growth, she is honored to spread health and happiness to those around her by holding space. Mackenzie has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from The University of Dayton and is currently obtaining her Master's in Consciousness from JFKU in the San Francisco Bay area. She finds that her studies supplement both her private and group instruction by integrating and applying knowledge of all aspects of the human body. Off the mat, Mackenzie enjoys writing, jogging with her pup, and traveling the world.
