In my early 20s, I began practicing yoga to relieve my tired body from long distance running. After trying various types of yoga all over the U.S. and Costa Rica, I found my home in Ashtanga Yoga. I decided to become a yoga teacher through the inspiration of one of my Ashtanga teachers and went on to complete my 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training through DC Studio Collective, Yoga District. This past June, I became certified to teach SUP Yoga through Stoked Yogi.
