Gurveer grew up in Rochester, NY and moved down to Charlotte, NC in 2012. He began practicing yoga after a Doctor recommended it for back pain relief. After a few weeks of practicing not only did his pain go away, but he realized that yoga can be a fun and intense workout. With a background in HIIT and weight lifting, he quickly learned that the movements can be combined to create a dynamic energizing practice. It wasn’t long before Gurveer discovered that inversions and arm balances are his favorite part of the yoga practice. Specializing in the tools and techniques required to build strong and safe inversions and arm balances, Gurveer currently teaches studio classes at Charlotte Yoga and Vibe5 in Charlotte, NC.
