Nicole Beasley, Ph.D

About The Teacher

Nicole Beasley, Ph.D. has been a licensed clinical psychologist since 2003. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings: hospitals, prisons, schools, universities and now in private practice. Dr. Beasley earned her undergraduate degree in psychology, with special emphasis in attachment theory, from Stanford University in 1992 and her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1999. From many years of working with people who feel lost and stuck in lives that don’t feel worth living, Nicole has come to see her best guide as her connection to Universal Mind. Listening to a silence that is not silent, thought settles and Universal Mind speaks. Nicole supports her clients in noticing Mind in the presence of sticky patterns of thought, in following the wisdom that unfolds and, most important, in helping clients feel their own connection with Mind.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

I'm having a baby in October and want to focus my practice so I can be present and calm! Laine

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
