Salima & Rehan
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Rehan and Salima are longtime members of the Abode community and devoted students of
Sufism. Both trained under Pir Zia Inayat Khan and are graduates of the Suluk Academy,
grounding their spiritual path in deep study and embodied practice. They first met at the Abode,
where their connection blossomed, and in 2015 they were married on the mountain, surrounded
by the community that helped shape their journey.
Their relationship has been rooted in a shared love of devotional music and Zikr (Sufi chanting),
practices that continue to nourish their lives today. They now joyfully include their five-year-old
daughter, Aradhel, in these sacred traditions. Together, Salima and Rehan lead a monthly
musical Zikr at the Abode, offering a heartfelt space for remembrance, connection, and spiritual
renewal.
