Jennie started life out as a singer songwriter and spent many years working with and supporting young musicians to establish themselves in the music industry. In the late 80's she studied to become a tutor and has spent the last 30 years working in Adult Education Centres, Colleges and Universities in the UK and EU. During which time she has been fortunate to work with a wide range of professionals, academics, therapists and artists who amongst other things have collectively developed the Pattern Breaking programme and processes that sit at the heart of this retreat. Jennie says that ‘having had the opportunity to deliver the Pattern Breaking programme to so many people from different socio economic, cultural and age groups, I have found this to be the most successful and engaging way to reflect on our lives and plan changes. It is a fulfilling and adventurous process which truly enables people to make long lasting changes in their lives’. Jennie has a passion for using creativity as a means to engage people in learning and alongside delivering Pattern Breaking she also teaches Creative Writing, Storytelling and mentors aspiring writers. She has a Certificate in Education, and MA in Leisure and Human Potential and is a qualified counsellor.
