Neha Govindan turned to what she thought was yoga, after a break of many years, seeking only fitness through asanas. Perhaps like a seed waiting to sprout, she found the teachings at the Institute more profound than she had ever imagined. She now teaches indepth study of yoga for the advanced teachers training courses (3 months, 7 months, 2 years). She has also taught at various camps (seven day camps, children’s camps) at The Yoga Institute for over three years now. She has an academic background in social work and has worked with corporates and NGOs in India and abroad and is based in Bombay. She endeavours to pass on the simple, yet life altering teachings she has learnt from her teachers on to others.
