Sister Megan Brown, RSM

About The Teacher

Megan Brown, RSM, D.Min. is a member of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, the Mid-Atlantic Community.  She presently ministers as an Incorporation Minister for the Mid-Atlantic Community.  Megan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English, a Masters Degree in Pastoral Counseling and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Applied Ministries. She is also a certified diversity trainer. Fascinated with the interplay of psychology and spirituality, Megan is also a spiritual director. She has directed numerous retreats and workshops in the areas of Spirituality and Prayer, Celtic Spirituality, Catherine McAuley, Mercy Spirituality, and the Spirituality of Therese of Lisieux.  Additionally, Megan has over twenty years of counseling experience. Her particular areas of focus are incest/sexual abuse, alcoholism/codependency issues and eating disorders.
