About The Teacher
I am an E-RYT 200 Kripalu certified yoga instructor, ISSA fitness coach, author, and avid wellness blogger. With over three decades of training, personal practice and more than 7,000 hours of hands on instruction, I am versed in many schools of yoga and related health modalities. I have first-hand awareness how yoga integrates mindfulness, physical strength, and personal growth. If you are willing to open your heart to a new way of caring for yourself you will find that yoga touches the very core of your mind, body, and spirit. And while it would appear that the yoga you practice on the mat is transformational, it is what takes place off the mat that has life-changing potential. I am experienced in teaching multi-level classes that anyone can benefit from whether a seasoned practitioner or a first-time student. In Kripalu yoga, students are encouraged to practice at their own level; the emphasis being placed on body awareness, alignment and coordination of breath and movement. Whether you’re searching for techniques to manage stress, improve physical well-being, or for spiritual growth, yoga encourages involvement in your own healing. Your yoga practice will not be a quick-fix, rather, it will be powerful, yet slow medicine. Let it be your foundation for extraordinary living. Find your respite from the noise and confusion of daily life tucked here in the tranquility of the jungle overlooking the pacific. Release, relax, and restore.
