About The Teacher

Maestra Celia, is from the Shipibo ethnic group of the Peruvian Amazon, and comes from the native community of Kaan, set along the Ucayali river. She has been working for the last 25 years as a dedicated shamanka Ayahuasquera, and - for the last 3 years - also as a Maestra San Pedrista/Huachumera (thanks to her own Maestra Naisha Silva Garcia, from Tarapoto, who initiated her in the work with the San Pedro cactus). She is the nice of the great Shipibo curandero Olivero Garcia, and mother of six. She sings hauntingly beautiful icaros during the Ayahuasca and San Pedro ceremonies. Being native of the Amazon, her style of conducting the San Pedro ceremonies closely resembles the way she works with Ayahuasca. We offer the services of Maestra Celia to complement with a San Pedro ceremony your Ayahuasca, plant teacher diet, or shamanic apprenticeship retreat with us. Or else, for those who wish to do a more in-depth work with San Pedro, the famed Cactus of the Four Winds, we offer a full 8 days/7 nights San Pedro retreat with her, which includes 4 San Pedro, 2 Ayahuasca, 1 Camalonga and 1 Toè ceremony.

The shamans at the San Pedro retreat will be Maestra Celia, her apprentice/assistant Alexio, and Maestro Palero Ayahuasquero Sananguero Toesero Don Guido Torres Davila (who will be in charge of the night ceremonies with Ayahuasca, Camalonga and Toè).

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

I go on retreat to remember who I really am. And I remember that I am alive, Deryk
