About us
Danielle Sangita Rottenberg is an ayurvedic practitioner, massage therapist, and ayurvedic yoga therapist. At the age of 25, she started her own non-profit agency where she brought together the healing powers of the arts to people with developmental, physical, and emotional challenges. This non-profit, Creative Clay Cultural Arts Center, continues to this day, 23 years later. Danielle Sangita received her initial training in ayurveda at the California College of Ayurveda in 2008. She furthered her studies under the guidance of Dr. Paul Dugliss of New World Ayurveda. She has extensive training in traditional ayurvedic therapies and modalities including abhyanga, shirodhara, marma therapy, aromatherapy, and herbal medicine. As a massage therapist and yoga teacher, she integrates a wealth of healing knowledge and clinical experience into her ayurveda consultations, classes, and workshops. She currently maintains a private practice in Black Mountain and Swannanoa and is the founder of the local nonprofit The Yoga Service Movement, where she provides free yoga and health/wellness classes to underserved populations.
