About The Teacher

Prior to being e a yoga teacher, Cecilia has been a Holistic massage therapist for more than 10 years. She has always been fascinated by the oriental view and the connection between body, mind, and spirit and learned Zen Shiatsu, a Japanese technique based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and elements of nature. After years of practicing yoga, she got certified to teach varieties of Hatha, such as Vinyasa and Yin. Now she lives between Europe, Australia and Indonesia teaching yoga and giving healing treatments. She combines the principles of Zen Shiatsu in her yoga practice and her classes differ on the elements of nature, the students and the feeling of the day. In each class she chooses asanas witch focus on the stimulation of energetic lines through the body and through this she aims to empower the students to balance the organs and the emotions associated with each element.

      Amazing therapist and teacher!

I had the opportunity to receive an amazing shiatsu treatment and a yoga class with Cecilia while she was in Australia. Her kindness, passion and patience are just the perfect combination of wellness and Zen. I also loved how she combines the Chinese Medicine and her knowledge in her yoga classes, just a great fusion! Highly recommended!

      Amazing place and teacher

Cecilia is amazing both as a yoga teacher and as a person. Her good energy and good heart are the perfect match for one of the best places I’ve been in the world. Gili Meno. An amazing little island with the best energy I’ve experienced. Def recommend :)

      Thank you for the classes

She was one of the best and down to earth yoga teachers I have come in across my experience. And I am Indian, if that adds any weight to the review. If it wasn't for her i wouldn't have taken up yoga as part of my routine. Go to the places she recommends to go in Gili Meno, Bali or in Lombok. You would be pleasantly surprised as I was.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

I'm having a baby in October and want to focus my practice so I can be present and calm! Laine
