About The Teacher

[SUN CLAD HOST]  –

Sigmund Freud has noted that a young child delights in being naked.  Sunfire has never lost that delight.  He believes that adults of any age can delight in being naked.  For him it’s part of his life as a spiritual explorer. It was easy for him to become a student of Joseph Kramer and the Body Electric School. It furthered his exploration. At the same time, he also studied energy healing at the Inner Focus School and became a Certified Advanced Energy Healer.

When he first came to Easton Mountain, he was working to integrate these two methods of spiritual development – Body Electric and Inner Focus. He did that while leading one-day workshops in erotic spirituality called “Awakening Chakra Energy” (mostly in NYC) and weekend retreats called “Exploring Chakra Energy” (at various retreat centers including – in 2001 – Easton Mountain).

While creating a documentary on the work of the choreographer and teacher, John Ollom, who has found inspiration for his art in the work of Carl Jung, Sunfire rekindled an interest in video and cinematography – a field he had earlier explored in graduate school.

You’ll find more than you want to know about Sunfire on his blog.

For Sun Clad, Sunfire is offering three new workshops with the overall title of “Naked Mysteries.”

  • Part I will be in inquiry into nudity in video and live performance – using video projection and discussion.
  • Part II will be an inquiry into nudity in self expression and will involve writing, movement, and drawing.
  • Part III will be an inquiry into nudity in sacred praxis – and will be a ritual of touch, giving touch to oneself, observing others giving touch, and, for those who choose, giving each other the kind of touch the receiver wants.

Participants may choose which parts they want to attend. Each part will be a unit by itself with no requirement to attend all three parts.
