About The Teacher

nisha ahuja overflows with love supporting hundreds of people connect with their self-healing ability, deeper and more expansive self-love, body positivity, working with and healing trauma. She does this through Ayurvedic Medicine + Bodywork, Holistic Nutrition, Energy Healing, Sound Healing, Ancestral Healing, and Holistic Yogic practices. She also supports people through creative movement, theatre creation, and social equity-wellness centred offerings.

Alongside nisha's formal designations, extensive training, and life-long gurukul style learning, nisha’s practice is dedicated to dissolving the boundaries between traditional medicines, ceremony, spirituality, art, and social equity. She centers her offerings on the knowing that healing and wellness are paramount and fundamental to our individual and collective liberation.

nisha’s spiritual journey took root over 25 years ago with Vedic and Yogic studies with many teachers and gurus along the path, including her current root teacher; Venerable Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche. Her Yogic practices and facilitation organically unfolded into the path of supporting people with traditional medicines. 

nisha is a Certified Yoga Facilitator/Guide (18 years), Registered Naturotherapy Practitioner as a graduate of the Centre for Ayurveda and Indian Systems of Healing, certified as an Advanced Ayurvedic Wellness Counsellor and Ayurvedic Panchkarma Therapist. She is also trained in Reiki (Master Level) with Varsha and Ravi Hooja (Mumbai), Attmic Energy Healing/Pranic Healing with Manav Ji Sahaj, and Therapuetic Yoga at Swami Vivekanada Ashram (Banglore). Many years ago nisha also graduated with a specialized honours from York University in Theatre (Devised Theatre Creation) and with a minor in International Development (Toronto).
