Yoga and Ayurveda Retreat in Kerala

About us

This experience is an authentic exploration of the culture of India and it's healing arts; Yoga and Ayurveda. Facilitated by Asha Daniels, a Indian/Canadian Yoga Teacher, who grew up in India and has spent many years studying, training and teaching Yoga in South India. Her mission is to share the value of Yoga and Ayurveda as a natural way to healthy living.

Retreat Overview: Yoga, Ayurveda and Indian Culture Immersion with Asha.

Join Asha for a one week, authentic Yoga and Ayurveda Experience in Kerala. Stay in traditional Kerala-style rooms overlooking the serene backwaters of Kerala for 3 days of Yoga Immersion with daily energizing morning practice (Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation) and gentle and calming evening Yoga Nidra and Meditation sessions.

During the first 3 days we will explore the local sights in Kerala. Journey into the villages, get a glimpse into the life of the locals, their arts, crafts, cuisine and learn about Yoga’s counterpart ‘Ayurveda’ which Kerala is most famous for.

We then head up to the vastly green and secluded Hill station of Munnar for the next 3 days surrounded by the natural and untouched beauty of Munnar. We will immerse ourselves in nature and enjoy exploring the local environment with nature walks, organic farm visits and tea tasting at one of the local tea plantations that Munnar is known for.

We will commence our trip, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and inspired to continue your Yoga and Ayurveda health practices when you return home.

About Asha:

India was my home for 27 years and it gave me a very up-close and personal experience of Yoga and Ayurveda. I have been teaching Yoga for over 8 years, both in India and now in Sydney, Australia.  My passion is to facilitate authentic experiences for people to visit, learn and experience India's culture and health practices for themselves.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

My inspiration sparks from my innate charge to connect with a collective innate goodness. I aspire to live in a way that continuously blossoms and embraces my wise and compassionate human nature. Freundl
