About The Teacher

Tara L. Skubella is founder and guide for Earth Tantra.  She is considered a leading expert in the practices of earthing.  Her unique ability to weave of earth based healing with Tantra is a growing sought after need for today's fast pace lives. Tara is also a wilderness survivalist and public speaker on earthing, ADHD, survival and Tantra

After experiencing a profound spiritual awakening that changed Tara's life in every way, she began exploring Tantra and fell in love with the practice.  After immersing myself into Tantra through workshops, literature, practices and a master class, I felt the calling to share Tantra with others.  Her Tantra teacher studies include completing a month long teacher's certification course in Thailand with Tribal Tantra in 2016 and studying with various other Tantra teachers.  Over the years Tara also studies Taoist with Mantak Chia and Buddhist based guidance and trainings with  with Vipassanna and other centers.  Most recently Tara is studying Death to become a Death Douala, as well as an 18 month Pagan Priestess and Ministry program with the Hekate Tribe lineage.

Some people may know Tara from Naked and Afraid.  She survived 21 days in a Panamanian Jungle living intimately with the earth and sleeping with her bare naked skin touching the jungle soil every night.  This particular experience is the basis for much of her spiritual growth and gifts to share with the world.  This is a whole other story in itself.

Tara's unique wilderness perspective can be attributed to many years of teaching outdoor education, outdoor guiding, wilderness therapy, wilderness survival, working with people who've experienced trauma in the social services field and being an Earth Science teacher.  She believe's her science background, comfort of naturism, wilderness application and spiritual practices create a practice in entirety.  It is important to first connect with nature and ourselves before we can fully connect with others in a healthy, authentic and intimate way.

"I embrace the wild earth, wild femininity and wild passions that roam through my heart body and soul.

It is my purpose and calling to guide others' to root and bare their souls in order connect with themselves

and others in an authentic and more intimate way"  - Tara L. Skubella
