Lopön Barbara Staemmler
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Lopön Barbara Staemmler studied medicine and specialized in psychotherapy. For over thirty years, she has worked as a Gestalt therapist and supervisor in private practice, and has also led Gestalt therapy training programs. In addition, she has completed further training in psychoanalytic therapy, music therapy, and bodywork.
She began meditating in 1993 and has been a student of Lama Tsultrim Allione since 2004. Barbara has visited Tara Mandala multiple times, traveled with Lama Tsultrim to Tibet and Scotland, and assisted her at various retreats. For many years, she has been offering trainings and retreats in Germany—and she continues to do so with dedication and joy.
