About The Teacher
Maxine is a highly trained yoga teacher and intuitive healer who is passionate about how yoga can be used to enhance our well-being. Regardless of age or fitness level, she adapts to all needs by providing tools for managing everyday life - on and off the mat. After recovering from a serious illness, Maxine found appreciation in what it means to be in good health, both in body and mind. After qualifying with the British Wheel, through Simon Low’s teacher training, she continued to follow a journey inspired by Kaivalyadhama Yoga. A combination of traditional practice, yoga therapy training and philosophy with modern scientific research, to explore the medical benefits of the practices. “The great thing about yoga, like life itself, is that it is an experience rather than a theory.”
