Kathy Peters

About The Teacher

Kathy is a seeker who enjoys exploring different ways to connect with self, others and

the Divine. Nature is this incredible teacher who embraces us wherever we are and

takes us where we need to go- many times we are unsure where our path is leading.

Removing ourselves from routine and natural behavioral patterns enables us to go

deeper to our center and that still small space that connects us to all living things.

Pictures, Images, and Collages touch places within our souls that open us for deep

learning to occur.

Kathy spent her professional career learning from people with significant intellectual

disabilities and teaching others how to interact with people who may or may not use

words to communicate. We all have incredible gifts to share with each other to make our

world a place of acceptance, self-discovery and peace.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

After participating in more yoga classes and events this year than in my entire life, I am yearning for the opportunity to attend a professional retreat. The opportunity to grow my practice, learn from talented students and teachers, and immerse myself in this gorgeous Red Feather Lakes sanctuary is the dream of a lifetime! Sara

Retreat Guru's Vision

We believe human beings are innately wise, strong and kind. This wisdom, although not always experienced, is always present. Going on retreat is a beautiful way to reconnect to our basic sanity and health. Our aspiration at Retreat Guru is to inspire people to experience authentic retreats and reconnect with their innate wisdom, strength and kindness.
