From working with famed French chef Remi Lauvand at Santa Barbara’s Ritz-Carlton Bacara Resort, to acting as the food stylist for films like The Runaway, to cooking for some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Chef Conrad Woodul’s expertise in French technique and farm-to-table cuisine has been in demand by the Hollywood community for years, as well as by lovers of haute cuisine across the country.
A friend and collaborator of the late Julia Child, Conrad’s meticulous preparation and presentation of food has been featured in the restaurants, homes and on the studio sets of a bevy of stars, including Kevin Costner, Oprah Winfrey, P. Diddy and Brittney Spears. For a change of pace, Conrad jets off to the East Coast to cook on private yachts cruising the eastern seaboard from the Hamptons to Miami, and overseeing meals at private dinner parties and events in South Florida’s celebrity enclaves of Star Island and Fisher Island.
And now Conrad is headed to Costa Rica, a veritable paradise abundant in fresh fish and fowl, range-fed meat, and delectable fruits and vegetables.
