About The Teacher

** PRESENTING: ““AUTHENTICALLY YOU”  and “SELF CARE AND SELF LOVE” **

+ Authentically You+

As gay men, we often struggle to be our authentic selves. We will discuss what the role of shame is our process of self-discovery, as well as how to recognize it and work through it. What does it mean to be authentic and to live a life of authenticity? We will discover what authenticity means, what are the barriers to being authentic, and how vulnerability and fear play a role in this process. This workshop will explore why so many of us are yearning for this in our lives. Through discussion, activities, and self-reflection, we will discover (or rediscover) what it means to be authentic. This will be an interactive and lively workshop!

+ Self-care and Self-love+

We will discuss what it means to be truly love and take care of ourselves. This will be an opportunity to self-reflect and learn ways to take better care of ourselves, so that we can be a great partner in our relationships. We will discuss the elements of self-care (Psychological, emotional, physical, environment, and mental) and how it’s more than just manicures and vacations. We will discuss how to show up for ourselves and how to take better care of our mind, body, and spirit.
