Located just one hour from Christchurch, Methven provides an ideal environment for meditation, contemplation, rest, and relaxation. Expand your mind surrounded by nature and let your energy channels flow as your body purifies.

The holistic wellness hub has been designed and created to promote wellbeing and balanced living, offering space for pilates,yoga, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, aquacise, flotation therapy, infrared sauna and spa pool.

During this retreat, you will be staying in the Ski Time Lodge, 43 Racecourse Avenue, 7730 Methven, NZ, (contact info blocked)
Ski Time is located only one hour’s drive from Christchurch International Airport, and when you arrive, it’s just a five minute walk to the town centre and to the yoga/pilates Studio. You will enjoy stunning views of the Southern Alps, whose slopes and foothills provide the playground for both winter and summer activities.
 Everything about Ski Time is just right, from the open fires, ensuite rooms and cozy ambience, to the extensive wine list, great food and brilliant service.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months.
