About The Teacher

As a recovering perfectionist that worked herself into a burnout as a university teacher, I know a thing or two about how to become much happier and more fulfilled. I started properly integrating all the things I'd learned in personal development workshops as well as my psychedelic experiences. Over the years of guiding people, my team and I developed a method where safety, curiosity, intention, presence and support, and deliberate integration are the guideposts. They come together to create the most powerful scaffolding for joyful empowerment that we can offer.
Journeyers say they feel totally safe with me and that my all-accepting presence and the conversations we have help them go deeper, become more at ease with themselves, and find more meaning in their experiences. We call it Trip Guidance than trip sitting because we are more active, by e.g. weaving seemingly random and disparate parts of trippers' experiences into a tapestry of meaning in real time. We also support integration by translating the experience into personal practices for daily life, writing an extensive summary, and following up with people.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months. Keeping our fingers crossed! Jaimee and Dan
