About The Teacher

Claire Missingham began teaching yoga in late 1999, after immersing herself in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Iyengar yoga with her teachers. Soon after, she toured the world as a private yoga teacher with a client in the music industry, then began teaching full time in London in 2000. Since then, her work has featured in Tatler, Grazia, Vogue and many more online magazines and articles. Since then, Claire became an authority on the original form of Vinyasa Flow Yoga, being mentored and learning from the pioneering teachers in the USA and India. Her work with Yoga Journal magazine consisted of articles, creating sequences and being a cover model from 2007 until 2015. Claire is considered an authority on yoga philosophy, practice and the implementation of creativity in yoga. In 2008 Claire was the first yoga teacher in the UK to open a Certified Teacher Training School for Vinyasa Flow Yoga and has trained and mentored many respected teachers in the past 10 years. In 2013, she was chosen as one of the worlds top yoga instructors, and the only European teacher for the online platform, based in Los Angeles. Claire has also produced an award-winning Yoga DVD and Music for Yoga, both with much success across the globe. Lastly, having been diagnosed with auto-immune disease Coeliac over 18 years ago, Lupus, she has used her credits as an Ayurvedic lifestyle consultant to keep herself not just well, but Radiantly Alive and loves to pass on her knowledge and passion for adaptogens, herbs and a plant-based life as a path to health and vitality through her podcast, Radiantly Alive!
