Gareth Knott
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
His background includes working on psychedelic research trials at King’s College London, supporting individuals with anorexia and treatment-resistant depression. This clinical research experience, alongside his work with PsyCare UK, has shaped his approach to psychedelic-assisted work: grounded in psychological safety, careful preparation, and the vital role of emotional integration when navigating powerful inner experiences.
Gareth also co-facilitates the “Mindfulness for Clinicians” community — a reflective space supporting healthcare professionals to cultivate mindfulness, presence, and self-compassion within the pressures and complexities of modern caring work.
His approach is informed by psychodynamic thinking, contemplative practice, and his own experience as a partner and father. He is especially interested in how couples can develop greater openness, emotional honesty, curiosity, and kindness within intimate relationships.
