Cvita Mamic

About The Teacher

Cvita's journey with plant medicine began in 2009 while searching for personal healing.  Her experience working with the Shipibo lineage of plant medicine was profound and compelled her towards an apprenticeship under Maestro Shipibo healer Ricardo Amaringo and a 10-year immersion with Amazonian plants and shamanism. She is a co-founder of Nihue Rao Centro Espiritual. Cvita currently divides her time between Canada and Peru where she focuses her energies as a healer in the Shipibo tradition, co-facilitating plant medicine retreats and empowering others to become active participants in their healing and personal development. Her focus is on the potential that plants have to heal people within their spiritual, emotional and physical realms. Cvita believes deeply in offering a safe container for people to explore plant medicine for personal healing, learning and transformation.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

This sounds like a dream! I am an education student and I have spent way too much time working all summer to pay for school. My boyfriend of 5 years is a government firefighter and has been away working most of the summer. His 30th Birthday and our 6th anniversary is coming up this winter, we would love to celebrate with a yoga retreat! We both love yoga but have barley had time to practice in the past few months. Keeping our fingers crossed! Jaimee and Dan
