About The Teacher

More than 5 years ago Stefanie followed the calling of her heart and left Germany to move to Peru. She fell in love with the magic of the country, especially with the energy of the mountains, the nature and the Spanish language!

After studying occupational therapy, she worked for 10 years at a hospital with brain injured patients. During this time, she always searched for deeper reasons and meanings for sickness and pain in human lives and holistic ways for healing them. She started to join yoga classes occasionally.

Deep healing experience for herself was receiving and learning about trauma-healing “transformation and healing”, based on Peter Levine’s somatic experience. Her healing path and search continued in Peru. Living and working at a holistic healing centre in Cusco was like connecting to a spiritual family. It opened new paths to her mind and heart like taking the decision to become a yoga teacher and to study cranio-sacral therapy and other kinds of energy work. Yoga has been part of her own healing journey. She loves to share her experiences with her students in order to give each of them the opportunity to connect body, mind, heart and spirit and explore new parts of themselves. She has been teaching yoga for 5 years in different yoga centres in Cusco/Peru and in Thailand. She loves creating a safe healing space in her classes and guides with love, compassion and a sense of humour throughout each class. She focuses on achieving a healthy alignment whilst giving clear instructions and offering adjustments to make yoga possible for everyone.
