Sifu Shanti has lived most of her life in search of depth… Depth of knowledge; of self, of others, of connection, of being.
She has explored many paths in this journey, both eastern and western, but always returns to the profound wisdom of the Internal arts – Taiji, qigong and specifically daoyin (the development and cultivation of awareness and consciousness).
Her fascination extends into all aspects of being – body, mind, heart and spirit – with the intention of allowing greater health, peace and well-being in all aspects of life.
Her offerings have the potential to deepen all paths and practices. And she is deeply passionate about sharing these explorations with others, in hopes of assisting them to rest into greater ease, joy and unfolding in their own journey.
‘Master Shanti has dedicated her life to deep embodiment of the internal arts. The profound wisdom encoded in their principles and movements have guided her to ever expanding states of awareness and consciousness.
A gifted teacher and empath, she leads by example and inspires students to awaken the potential of their hearts, minds, bodies and spirits’.
Her favourite quote to express this journey is by Richard Wagamese… “I don’t want to touch you skin to skin. I want to touch you deeply, beneath the surface, where our real stories lie. Touch you where the fragments of our being are, where the sediment of things that shaped us forms the verdant delta of our human story. I want to bump against you and feel the rush of contact and ask important questions and offer compelling answers, so that together we might learn to live beneath the surface, where the current bears us forward deeper into the great ocean of shared experience.
