About The Teacher

Kate Henriott Jauw is an author, artist, illustrator, muralist and installation artist whose art has been featured in award-winning books, public spaces, and public competitions such as ArtPrize. She is also in demand at nationwide gatherings speaking on such topics as ‘Tea and Tasseomancy’ and ‘Absinthe, Alewives and Alchemy’ (her latest book with husband and co-author Ted Jauw). She speaks on healing, change, and using art and ritual for transformation.

Teaching art to adults with disabilities as a way to unleash their potential and break the stereotypes of their capabilities and capacities has led her to apply these same principles to others looking to unleash creativity and passion for personal change and growth.
