Why study with them?
Jennifer Born grew up in Washington State in the midst of the great outdoors and a small town obsessed with basketball. She is a graduate of Linfield University with a degree in Education and a Master’s in Leadership from Buffalo State University of New York. She has lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for the last 18 years in a variety of leadership and executive coaching roles for Saudi Aramco. She is passionate about building community, growing leaders and helping people “Activate their Why”.
Jennifer Born is a Learning Leader with 15+ years of experience in organizational development, leadership, and continuous improvement. She is also a DE&I specialist, transformational coach, and highly sought after trainer, facilitator and content builder. She has managed major educational, leadership, and belonging focused events and has been called upon to support talent development and optimal performance at a school and corporate level. She is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified coach and a Master Facilitator. Jennifer is the CEO and Founding Member of Meraki Community, an organization developed to help leaders seek out their purpose and “Activate their Why” moving from dream to action!
In her spare time she and her husband Brad spend most of their time in the gym coaching basketball or watching their three kids play basketball, volleyball or soccer. They spend their summers wake surfing on the Puget Sound which gives them all first hand experience with Discovery, Reflection and Activation when they say “Hit It!”.
Jennifer loves building community, searching for the best cup of coffee, gathering around the campfire and travel adventures large and small. She considers herself a change junkie, a recovering perfectionist, an adventure seeker, an advocate for belonging, a lover of people, and a gift giver of great books. Jennifer has spent the majority of her adult life living in Saudi Arabia in what started out as an "expat adventure" and turned into a way of life. 18 years, 3 kids, 2 dogs and a cat later Brad and Jennifer have built a life, a family, and a community living in The Middle East.
