Jeremy Falk

About The Teacher

As a kid with asthma, he played soccer and ran cross country fearlessly with his inhaler tucked in his shorts, virtually overcoming his respiratory condition and igniting his passion for helping people. This passion led him to his B.A. in Psychology, yet ultimately his career began when he became a NASM certified personal trainer to high school athletes, professionals, weekend warriors, and senior citizens in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. After 6 years of successfully helping people of all backgrounds become stronger and healthier, he sought to continue this journey by expanding his practice holistically.

In 2012, Jeremy embarked on a year-long backpacking journey that spanned 14 countries across Europe and Asia, and it was ultimately the 5 months he spent living in India studying yoga that completely transformed his purpose in life. Jeremy completed his RYT-200HR at the Association of Yoga & Meditation in Rishikesh, India’s yoga capital, living in ashrams and diving deeply into asana, pranayama, and meditation on the Ganga river.  The profound effects on the mind and spirit were inescapable and life-changing. When his journey completed, he decided to make a fresh start in San Francisco, one of the Western world’s yoga capitals.

With his most humble gratitude to his teachers Jason Crandell, Stephanie Snyder, and Janet Stone, Jeremy is an E-RYT500HR whose classes offer a challenging alignment based bhakti vinyasa. He has taught at Wanderlust Festival, and his grounded and approachable style has earned him the title of Ambassador for top companies like Lululemon, Fitbit, and most recently Yoga Journal where he traveled the US + London to document yoga’s impact in the West. Jeremy teaches in San Francisco where he is more inspired than ever to help make this transformative healing practice accessible to all.

Why Retreat?

We asked people why they go on retreat, here's what they said:

Reconnecting with myself after a very crazy few months with a new baby! Just having that feeling of being grounded again. But also having an opportunity to connect with new amazing people. Getting exposed and Inspired by new (to me) yoga instructors (and community). Being in the presence of real, authentic and raw emotion (the whole spectrum).. So many reasons! Alyson
